...such as, my 13 month old daughter who has recently discovered the fun of a pacifier. It's not even one of several that I tried to give her when she was younger, completely uninterested and unable to keep in her mouth, no just some random nuk that somehow made it into our home. She crawls/cruises around with it in her mouth like she's been doing it forever. It's such a weird sight because she's never been a pacifier-sucking baby.
So, I'm thinking "ohhhhhh NO! we are not going backwards!" Because of course, this is the age that most parents are trying to get their child to give it up.
Alas, I've been letting her suck on it since she seems to like it, but I'm not going to be carrying it around everywhere and giving it to her when she's fussy. After all, that's [one of the things] my boobs are for.
